Supporting WA youth (15-25yrs) to engage in an evidence-based movement program, in a supportive, inclusive and and non-judgmental environment. We delivery an inclusive physical activity program that is flexible and responsive to the needs of disengaged or ‘at risk young people who are currently under serviced in community physical activity pathways.

Program participants may have lived experience of trans and gender diversity, neurodivergence, mental health challenges or distress, homelessness or unstable housing and/or substance use.

Our overall goal is to increase activity and improve health outcomes of diverse and/or disadvantaged young people by:

  • providing structured opportunities for movement in safe and supportive spaces for young people (as well as their allies, friends and families) to be active
  • building the motivation, knowledge and confidence of young people to be active
  • educating and supporting community physical activity providers to increase activity opportunities for young people

Youth Moves is provided free of charge to young people due to  support from Delivered in partnership with The Department of Local Government, Sports and Cultural Industries and Stan Perron Charitable Foundation.
